Who We Are
Organic Play™ was created by a mother daughter team who believe that childhood should feel safe, joyful, and rooted in genuine understanding. Together, we combine lived experience, scientific knowledge, and years of hands-on work in early childhood development, therapeutic play, and inclusive education. Our approach honours neurodivergence, diversity, and the many ways children learn through connection, co-regulation, and exploration. We are committed to creating environments and relationships where every child can grow without pressure, labels, or performative expectations.

Constanza Rojas Vertiz is a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with experience in licensed early learning environments supporting children with diverse developmental needs, including autistic children. She holds a diploma in Early Childhood Education and degree in Early Childhood studies. Her professional development includes training in the Reggio Emilia approach in Italy, the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM Smart Start), trauma-informed practices, and mental health in early childhood. Through her work, she recognized the limits of performance-driven approaches and shifted toward developmentally responsive, relationship-based practice. Constanza designs learning experiences grounded in co-regulation, sensory-informed environments, and child-led play. Her approach centers curiosity, safety, and meaningful engagement—creating conditions where children can participate and develop without pressure toward compliance.

Irma Canut brings a powerful combination of lived experience and evidence-based expertise to Organic Play™. As a neurodivergent individual who experienced traditional therapy firsthand, she reimagined early learning through connection, play, and developmental understanding. With over 20 years in inclusive early childhood education and early intervention, Irma holds a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Early Childhood Studies Her training includes JASPER (UCLA), Project ImPACT, Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), and play therapy through the Canadian Association of Play Therapy. Additional preparation in Reggio Emilia (Italy), trauma-informed practice, CBT, Montessori, and Learning Without Tears shapes her integrative approach. Her work centers play as a meaningful pathway for social-communication, co-regulation to develop regulation, sensory processing, and competence, without pressure or compliance.
